Figured I would start a shed thread for this year. Post 'em if ya find 'em. If ya got a pic of the buck they come off of, include it! Go!!!

Also if you have feed pens pour hand corn around the edge of the panels. Sometimes it makes for easy pickings!

A small one I found laying in the road in front of a blind. Almost all of my deer are still holding.

Found some more yesterday! Large matched set of my friendly buck Amigo! HF deer that will follow me around wherever I go. Very tame after being handled from a broke leg 3 yrs ago. He roams 225 acres and it still took some time finding his sheds.

Found a low fence shed as well on the other side of the fence but didn’t retrieve it.

Any folks from Nebraska found any yet? I plan to head out this weekend to search a small 40 acre area north of Fairbury that has about 50/50 CRP and timber.

Been looking for this buck for months! Probably walked by him a handful of times. Sad to see but glad to have closure.

Found a pair not 3ft apart of a buck I call Native 8. Impressive animal!

No clue. Disappeared January 2020. Thought maybe he shed and would see him last summer but didn’t. Searched high and low.

Rut or fighting wounds probably got him.

Adding to the treasure! Found 5 more today. Took pics of 3. Found a solid 180s set close together at the ranch and the other small side to an 8 at my home place. Also found a 140s 10pt set this evening and forgot to take pics.

Jason, I love your stories and connections to these deer. Makes it fun! Keep posting. We've had a few of our stressed out deer shed and found one dead after he shed. Presumably from the freeze. If it is the buck I am thinking it is, he was super skinny to begin with. But the bulk haven't started to drop yet. I am guessing in the next week or so. Can't wait to get on horseback and go shed hunting!

Thanks Lance! I’ve got the buck in the first pic at the beginning of this thread that I still haven’t seen or found sign of. Kinda worried about him.

Also keeping a close eye on this buck and waiting for him to drop!

Found all these inside the feed pen and several more just outside of it in Gillespie county the other day. Still have several mature bucks holding on though.

Found more. I also found a broke G3 from the same buck I found the right side to today. It was laying 15’ from the shed. Now I just need to find his left side to show the broken split G3. Thought that was a cool find in itself.

Set pics are from the set I found late on Monday.
