I've been thinking about visiting these parks for a while, so back in December, I decided to book a plane ticket with a buddy, and head out for a bunch of hiking and photography. Both of these places are ridiculously cool! Hope ya'll enjoy the photos.

Outstanding. Bucket list places for me to go.

Did you do the Angel’s Landing trail in Zion? I dont think I could muster the nerve to do that one.

Thanks! Yes, I have some from up there, but to be honest, they aren't my favorites from a compositional standpoint, but I haven't processed them yet, so I'll add them if they end up turning out well.

Yes, we did it, and it was totally worth it! We did see a guy in tennis shoes that looked to have virtually no tread or support coming down that almost lost it. It would have been a lonnnggg way down if he'd have slid another couple of feet.

I have hiked through both, with a pack.
Awesome place.
The military has a plateau right before the entrance of Zion, where they test ejection seats.
One of the guys who picked me up on the way in worked there, showed me around and told me all about it.
Of all things he was from Kilgore, TX.
Beautiful out there.

Awesome place. Never been in the winter. The snow is a cool addition. Its really neat how much different Bryce looks depending on how the sun hits it. It almost looks like its lit up at certain times.

Great pictures Tyler. I was getting ready to head to big bend in March and tore my meniscus on Friday. Trying to get knee surgery scheduled so I can rehab for later hikes this year.

Dang! I am sorry to hear that. Hope you have a speedy recovery, what's the timetable like for you to hit the trails?

So the meniscus surgery is a simple one. I had my right knee done in 2019 and it was about a 4 week recovery before I was able to walk up 20 flights of stairs with no problems. The issue now is with covid. They are restricting the amount of surgeries being done. So it’s looking like middle of February for surgery.
