Just picked mine up from Belleville Meat Market and it came as pan sausage. Anyone have any good recipes or thoughts on the best way to cook?

I'm not sure what Boarwurst is. So doubt I'll be much help. Keep checking back to see if I can learn something.

I looked up Bellville Meatmarket and what they call boarwurst, is a fresh pork sausage. If you got pan sausage, I would use it for breakfast, add it to gravy, make meatballs or stuff peppers.

Thank all - think I am going to pan fry it tomorrow just to see what it tastes like. I took a flyer on this to try something new.

You can mix it with ground deer for almost any recipe that you’re gonna use ground deer. Breakfast, spaghetti, hamburger steaks, meat loaf, etc. Adds a little extra to them.

If its good then there are a couple of things I would do... 1) breakfast sandwiches with egg, honey and hot sauce, 2) stuffed biscuit rolls. There's recipes for both here in the recipe section. That would be besides just having sausage on side with pancakes or eggs.

One thing I like to do with ground sausage is to brown it and add a little cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese maybe some finely minced mushrooms or green onion. Then stuff the mixture in a raw crescent roll dough like it’s a pouch. Bake and enjoy. You can make them spicy too.
