Default Buck drinking water
Watched this buck chase does for about and hour. He took a break and had a drink. I watched him guzzle water for about 5 minutes and cool off.

I witnessed a buck drink water at Lake Amistad for what seemed like 5 minutes also. I'm glad someone else has a similar story because I couldn't believe how much water they drank.

It surprised me also. I guess he was loading up for all the scrapes he had to go check.

I was thinking just the opposite. If they drink so much at a time, they must frequent waterholes less often than one would expect.

Yeah I think we underestimated how dry it has been this year on our place and should have sat troughs and tanks more these last 3 weeks.
