I can't answer that. We put some improved genetic does in the pasture 7-8 years ago along with what we already had on the ranch. Your guess is as good as mine as to whether or not he is native or not. I would guess not since he has those little drops. Our top end buck was 192" prior to any improved genetics so we certainly were able to grow deer in the same ballpark before. We just now have more of them.

I could of but I’m just not that mad at them this year. We have a guy selling some hunts for us this year and he chose this deer for himself. Obviously I could of told him he was off limits and shot him myself but I don’t want to be greedy about the whole deal. It’s all good.
