    Arrow length question

I am shooting Easton Epic Camo arrows. I have a 28" draw and am shooting 63-65 lbs. my arrows are 29". Should I consider cutting them down to 28"? I am also using 125 grain broadheads.

If the shoot good leave them alone. Just have extra weight for penetration.

Why would you? You aren't going to gain much of anything by doing it. Maybe one or two fps. Unless you are having some tuning issues (spine problems) I wouldn't worry about it.

I was mostly thinking about spine strength.

need to know what spine they are? then paper tune them to see how they tear.

making them shorter will stiffen them up a little

Also think about this cutting them down that short will be putting the broad head really close to your fingers

              400. I use a fall away so I think I would be fine on the broadhead. Easton chart shows 400 for 28" or 29"
