Default Entry and exit holes

I shot a buck and a doe this week, the buck with a rage a quartering away shot and had a small entry and exit hole, then the doe was with a T3 and the exact same thing, she never even bled I had just saw her fall so I walked straight up.

Is this happening to anyone else?? Maybe because they are quartering away shots??

I always have gaping wounds with my Rage. I usually shoot "slight" quartering away.

The doe and buck I shot with the T3 had large entrance & exit holes with good blood trails on double lung shots. Both only ran 40 yards. I don't know. Maybe like you said they were quartering away shots. Both of mine were dead on broadsides.

They both went only about 30 yards, but the buck barely bled any and the doe never did, and both holes were maybe an inch-inch and a half tops

I've shot three animals this year quartering away. All dead within 70 yards.

One greasy blood trail, one average, one without. The difference was the height of the hole. The higher the less blood.

thanks guys, sorry just got back to this, the shot on the buck was low and doe was mid way up
both piled up and died about 30 yards away, i was happy with results as far as how far they went
i was just not to happy with the entry and exit wounds, arent as big as ive had before with them or what i expected
