    Brownwood - Place to eat?

Been to Underwoods - It was ok but not looking for a huge get stuffed meal.

Will be in Brownwood tomorrow with the wife. Any good hole in the wall places to eat lunch at?

Skip Brownwood…head to Comanche and hit up Harvest. It’s on the square and it’s as good a meal as I’ve ever found in a small town. 5 star food

All 3 of these look great. Now I have to decide!

On one hand Pete's lunch catfish sounds good...but then small places like Red Wagon nachos could be really good also.

Will keep this info on Comanche, may be down that way later this year to see a friend.

Brownwood doesn't have much for really good places to eat. I'm not a fan of Underwood's. Their fried chicken is pretty good, but their BBQ is not great. Sides are just canned veggies warmed up. Cobbler and rolls are good, if you eat carbs.

Humphrey Pete's is good. Kinda like Chili's, but better. Section Hand is pretty good for steak. Prima Pasta is really good for Italian, but I'm not big on pasta (not keto).

Humphrey Pete's is by far the best place in Bwood.
