To people that refuse to wear mask. Do you just walk in places with out them even though they are required? To make myself clear, I hate them and don't want to wear them. But I have to go in stores and they require them.

Same here. Lots of people are concerned about COVID, and take precautions to prevent it whether it’s a real or perceived threat. If they ask me to wear a mask in their place of business, I do it out of respect for them and nothing else.

You don't have to wear them. I have been to lumber yards, Walmarts, TSC, and everywhere in between. If they ask I say I am medically exempt, covered in the blood of Jesus.
Understand something, 99% of the people are wearing masks....and yet what is happening with the #'s of positive tests....the same or rising according to them which anyone with half a brain can tell you that masks, wait for it..............are ineffective except to make you look like an idiot and follow the protocol right into the train car where you will take a lovely ride to a new better place. Trust us, you will be fine. People are so quick to accept SOCIALISM and then come on here and talk about how tough and manly they are. They same people will have their families taken from them in the future and **** and moan about it on here but do nothing about it.

Lets revisit a couple numbers. 80% of all people who get Covid will never have a symptom. Of the 20% who have symptoms 99.9% will recover and be fine. These numbers are not even close to the flu numbers worldwide. The # of deaths has been lied about to the nth degree, we know that. The number of positive cases has been lied about, we know that, sometimes 300% or more. At some point soon they will run out of people and numbers and shut this crap down.
Then add in masks, for starters, the masks don't block viruses, , 2..nobody wears a mask correctly if they did block viruses. If you had a proper mask it would need to be sealed, put it on when going out, never touch it and remove it with rubber gloves when done and dispose of it and the gloves and go to some sterile bubble until you have to venture out into that scary world we live in once more and repeat the process. Problem is, you have no sterile environment anywhere, the people making the masks and delivering the masks are not in a sterile environment, how will you accomplish anything the way things are done now. It is for show only, a total scam and a joke. I don't play stupid games with stupid people. Fear is a powerful drug my friends.
Interesting information. I guess my mother almost dieng and 8 of my family all hospitalized with pneumonia wasnt real either. All exceptionally healthy. Along with other healthy people we once new who have passed away. Im sure they all feel the same way.. a
              All with fake sickness.

Agreed. A property owner/business has a right to require it, dont like it then dont go there.

I hate it all, hate that its here and hate that it kills some people. But how.in the world so many cant understand that its here and not going away is beyond me. Its HERE, and everyone will be exposed at some point. Get used to it. Yes, I may die. That sucks. But its here. If you are in the danger group then hunker down and isolate. Otherwise get on with your life and hope you survive. JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER DANGEROUS DISEASE in the history of mankind.

You WILL be exposed to it unless you stay isolated for the rest of your life. Period.

Wear a mask for the rest of my life to "prevent" catching a disease that has such an incredibly low chance of killing me? Eff it, come kill me now.

I'm about to start licking doorknobs just to make some of yall ?=÷>[]#$ cry

I’m not real big on wearing a mask, when I go to certain plants as a vendor I am required to wear it on their property, same as safety glasses, steel toes and hearing protection.

I do not shop at big box stores, and not a big fan of TSC or Walmart . I am a small business so I do business with all the mom and pops I can. It’s tough for a small business right now.

Up until two weeks ago I did not have to wear a mask at the feed store. I walked in and the owner asked me to put a mask on and I did, he proceeded to tell me he could not afford being shutdown for two weeks if someone claimed to have caught the virus in his store. He said it’s a stupid game with stupid prizes. I never really had thought about it in that way before, but I understand and will do what I need to do to support the little businesses I go to.

I guess if it’s socialist to wear a mask, then I must have been a socialist the whole time I was in the Navy, cause I had to do all kinds of things the government forced me to do. No need to flame me, just an old redneck’s opinion.

                              True on both sides

As a physician I see both sides
I am split down the middle on the argument
My family wears masks everywhere they go
Our motto is better to be safe than sorry

Yes everyone has the right to not wear one when they are out and about but when they go into public area that has set Rules that You have to follow, I believe they should be followed

Remember the days of no shoes no shirt no service, that’s where we are at now, no mask no service at some locations. Do you have the right to not go into that establishment, yes, do they have the right to require a mask, yes.
To me when I am at an area that does not require a mask and somebody is not wearing a mask, I believe there is no reason for me to get upset with them for not wearing a mask. But vice versa I believe that the person not wearing the mask has no right to criticize the people that are wearing masks. It is each one’s choice so why get upset with the other side. If I don’t want to walk close to someone not wearing a mask, I will move my 6 feet away from them. I have the right to do that. No reason for someone without the mask to get upset with me for making that choice.

Onto the medical aspect of it. I work out of hospitals each day. I can tell you from my experience that the hospitals are overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients with significant symptoms. The only patients admitted to the hospital have to meet 10 different criteria with significant symptoms to be admitted. Do people that get on a ventilator die, 60% of the people that end up on a ventilator to die. Our small hospital only has 10 beds in the ICU, 8 are filled with ventilating Covid patient That led to the admission. And ventilation. They do not have other conditions such as heart attack, bacterial pneumonia, other normal ICU findings. These are people that have inflammatory lungs that 60% will die. The neighboring hospital that I go to has a completely full ICU with Covid patients. They have opened up two extra wings of their hospital strictly for internal patients that are Covid. These are not people with other disease processes that are in there. These are inflammatory longs with 10 different symptoms related to COVID-19. Not flu Patients. Parkland Hospital in Dallas started out with oneUnit for Covid patients. They recently opened up their third unit of Covid patients. They have 56 people that are on a vants due to Covid patients. Is that higher than the flu patients during flu season, yes by 70%. These are not patience with other disease processes that having caused the admission. Do these people have diabetes and other elements, sure some of them do, but the reason for being on a ventilator is COVID-19.

Is this virus real, yes. Is it dangerous for some families, yes. For the majority of the patients and people that contract as far as there’s being deadly, no. Is there a low chance of dying from this virus, yes. Is it something to be concerned about, yes. I have one patient whose neighbor caught it . The father was eventually placed on a ventilator due to significant breathing issues and died. The mother was placed on a vent and recovered. The daughter is now placed on a vent and is going to die. I have another patient that was placed on a vent along with her mother because both of them caught it And had difficulty breathing, the mother died. It seems to me there is strains of this virus that are significant and fatal.

Is this virus more contagious than the flu, yes. I know seven different families that have contracted this virus that everyone in the family ended up testing positive with some sort of symptoms. I would say that is quite a bit higher than the normal flu. These are just stats and my opinions. Everybody has their own opinion. Should we wear safety belts in a car, is it my ride to not, yes. Is it the the police officer right to give me a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt, yes. Is it down for safety reasons, yes. Do the majority of people that drive a car die, no.
