    450-500 grains of TAW is a great all around performer for any NA game.

      we would think this, but look how many 450gr arrows don't have the mass to get through a whitetail deer. of course, most of the time is due to incorrect had being used for the setup

        Do you guys paper tune/bare shaft tune at the archery shop or at home? I'm in the process of building but want to paper tune.

          Lots of factors for sure, always best to offset the lighter arrow with a robust penetrating head like a good two blade. When I shot 450 in Africa I used the 225 Helix to help the arrow out,it was a great fit.
