If he’s ready to be out of football, sure.

Why not? Why won’t one of these overpaid pansies grow a pair and tell the players to shove it?

I know, but it is at some colleges. How do they ever graduate high school, or even middle school, English?

...and these guys are college students who still can't speak English? SMH.
And he's probably getting a dam teaching degree.... Oh it happens..

And all of this over the "N" word??? Hell the "N" word is used more these days than it has been in my entire life and it's black people I hear using it the most.. Forgive me for being a bit confused because I am....

He won’t be out of football if he is doing the right thing which in this case it looks to be the case. Too much capitulation. Stand by your principles and if you do get canned then is that really the institution that you want to be working for?

I don’t understand this mentality. “He should know better” or “big boy sense”? So instead of doing the right thing you just act like nothing is going on so you don’t risk your job? I’m not sure about you guys but I don’t have any problems telling my boss I’m not going to do something if I feel it’s unethical or wrong regardless of whether he fires me or not. I applaud the guy for standing up.

Then why did he apologize, if it’s the right thing?

The upper classman who were their had a leadership meeting, and asked him to apologize. From what I understand,no one will ever say the n word,in any context again.Beat downs are the consequences,no matter what race you are.
