    Hagerman whitetail history?

A friend of mine were discussing the quality of deer that come from Hagerman, hard to find an answer but did some early stocking of northern whitetail take place? Probably not something that biologists would confirm but I thought I read that in the past?

I’ve heard that too. Also heard the sane thing around ray roberts by no idea if true or not

Could be partly attributed to Grayson County being bow only for deer hunting.

Maybe, but the same characteristics are seen throughout the blackland prairies. Seems like 3 basic ingredients.

1, age from restricted seasons. Think lavon, texoma, and lake waco. All archery only areas (lavon being a closed area, deer factory in the middle of a archery only county).

2, non- segmented large acreage, same as above. Many dear on those land areas will live and die and never be seen

          3. Blackland clay. It's in the soil.... dont know what, but it is.
