Default New condominium (bow blind)

After a few year of hunting out of a blind that was a little small for my liking I decided to go big...8x8 raised platform with a 6x8 blind. I'll let pictures do the talking..

Next trip it will get curtains, a handrail for the ladder and deck, a couple more shelves and a solar panel and 12v deep cycle battery for lights, chargers, etc.

Great job. We’ll be building one this summer and might do it just like that.

Really looks good,I have one to build after season myself. Was going to buy a fiberglass stand but just could not make myself spend 3000.00 plus when I can build one.Yours looks to be the perfect size.

Mind sharing about how much it cost you? Ive got an idea, but never built one quite that big. Thinking about $800 though?

With a few accessories its gonna be nice. I bought a 12vilt ceiling fan off of amazon and it's a game changer...led lights, curtains, and shelves, 12volt with a solar panel will be added next weekend.

That looks great! I built a 8x8 platform with 4’ legs and put my pop up on it, works in a pinch. I see a permanent build like yours this year.

You will love it when it is finished. Go big or go home, might as well be comfortable. I went a bit overboard but the siding was free. 1" tongue and groove. Made it 8'x8', the Trex on the porch and steps came off an old deck I built.

Awesome blind. Never thought about all the solar powered add ons! You killed anything out of it yet?

Yes we put it up panel by panel. We have killed a deer our of it. My daughter killed her first buck with a bow out of it.
