Yeah I agree with this, those comments just keep it from getting buried so look at the benefit. I'd also venture that most serious buyers will PM instead of replying on the thread.

Something else we should remove is "I'll take it".....and then disappearing, not returning PMs or emails, at all, for days. Here's an idea.....Ask your wife BEFORE you claim it. If you can't make a purchase without her permission, then just refrain.

Just do a search of all posts and see how many times and threads that post pops up and WHO posts it.
