I bought a County Line at Tractor Supply 4 years ago and it's been fine. We burn a lot in our wood stove, especially last week! I made my own side tables and found a 4 way wedge to replace the entire single split head and modified it to widen the side wings. Stay away from those cheaper drop on 4 way wedges.

I bought a county Line also and I like it no problems in 3 years.
I have one that hooks to remote on tractor I like it too.
The county line is my favorite.
28 ton will split any oak pieces we have put in it, even forks. Ours came from TSC. Anything between 25 and 30 ton works fine for firewood. They may have some sales on them here at the end of winter.

What four-way wedge do you have? Is it something that is easy to switch back-and-forth
I'm looking at a Champion 34 ton at Home Depot that's close to that price range. The wood that I have is seasoned live oak and it seems to need the extra force to split the big pieces. Neighbor let me use his 31 ton and it worked great but I wouldn't want to go any smaller for the twisty/gnarly live oak that we have.
Another happy county line owner. After many years of heavy use my cylinder has started to leak a bit. I just keep topped off with hydraulic oil and rock on...
