    Rough Month for Friend

Started January 6th when close friends, Tom, Laurie and her mother all wound up in rehab and hospital with COVID. Laurie got out about 7-days ago, but her mother passed away and Tom is still in hospital. Also, during the time, her brother and sister-in-law both passed away with COVID.

I called to check on her tonight and Tom has been put on a ventilator and dialysis today and isn't doing well. Also, she said her sister has COVID now but not so bad as to require hospital yet.

Prayers up for them and for all suffering from this terrible virus.

Praying for all of this family who have been hit so hard by this horrible COVID virus. Also, praying for the healthcare workers taking care of this family.

Makes you wonder if there is a genetic factor or maybe they got a really bad strain.

Really bad part is that their daughter is a RN and she was there when her grandmother passed away, the rehab center had allowed her to come in and tend to her. And to top it off, it was Shannon's birthday when grandma passed away.

And today the hospital let her come in and speak to her father about what was going on and tend to him a little to help out the other nurses.

Tom and Laurie are 65 and 67, and her brother and SIL were a couple of years older. Grandma was almost 90.

God, we come together in prayer for our brothers and sisters suffering from this sickness. We ask for your complete and supernatural healing, protection, and provision for them. For your peace and comfort for them and their families during this difficult time, and for your guiding hand over their medical team. We pray all this through your son, our mighty Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen
