You're trying to get someone's attention and you bark at them. Earlier I had a truck running and I hollered at a co-worker and he didn't hear me so I yipped at him. It got his attention and we both busted up laughin. He said did you bark at me? I said yeah that's how I get coyotes to stop so I can shoot em'. He laughed some more.
