Woodlands area honest foreign car shop recommendation?

Anyone know of a place in the woodlands area that works on foreign cars (VW) that i can send a friend to? Stealership is ridiculous and car isn't under warranty. Thanks.

Go check out Carter Automotive in Magnolia. Not too far out from the Woodlands. I take my truck there and they do great work!

I was referred to them by a buddy of mine who is with the HSCO.

I have had very good luck with Magnolia Auto Specialist. It is about 2 miles west of 2978 on 1488

A buddy of mine recommended Elders Automotive out of Oak Ridge.

Don’t know about their experience with VWs specifically, but Mueller’s Automotive has been good to us in the past.

Elders is our go to mechanic. Before I got my daughters Audi I asked if they worked on German cars and they confirmed. I also found Bertini's when looking for a specialty shop, but never had the chance to use them. Not sure if they work on VW.

Daughter totaled her car a few weeks ago so depending on what I get her next we may or may not get to try them out.
