Things To Do In San Antonio

Ok, when I do a search on the title, "Things to do in San Antonio" I get serve error 500.

So, can you help me with ideas of what there is to do in San Antonio?

Wife wants to go down there to celebrate our anniversary.

River walk is the obvious, but are there other things we should check out?

    Take her to Bohanans.

Bohanan's Prime Steak and Seafood is the premier steakhouse in downtown San Antonio. Experience fine dining at our steakhouse in San Antonio, TX.

I recommend the bone in fillet...man I love that place. See the Alamo, go to the bar at the Menger Hotel go to the Zoo. There's a LOT to do in SA.

The city has a bike rental program. You pick up bikes all over in the downtown area and you can pedal down on the south end of the river and tour all of the missions. They are national monuments and they are free to tour. They were just designated a UN World Heritage site. Depending on where you are staying and how ambitious you are there is plenty of good food but most of it is not downtown. You can get tickets and take a riverboat ride up and down the river and learn about the history. The zoo is only a few miles from downtown. It is not the greatest but not horrible either. The Pearl is a new entertainment district. I had dinner at one of the restaurants one time. I wasn't overly impressed with the food but there are plenty others. I hear the Hotel Emma at the Pearl is a top of the line hotel. Keep in mind this is a few miles North of the main Riverwalk area but it is all accessible by shoreline trail/sidewalks. The King William area just South of downtown has guided or self guided walking tours of all the old 1800s homes in the area.

Maybe the people in the Boerne area will chime in as there seems to be some very nice places there!!

Tower of America’s is cool. Also go to waxey O’Connells on the river walk. And puffy tacos for lunch is a must in San Antonio
