It's killing time

I’ll be on a platform/tree stand with my 9yr old in the morning waiting on a giant. He does good in blinds where he can move around a little, we will see how long he can sit still. I’m having trouble getting too excited with these warm temps, but I’ll struggle to pass much with my son by my side.

Exact same here.. I'll have my 9 year old with me as well.. first time in a tree stand, so we'll see just how soon a blowing doe catching an arrow.. haha

I'm so glad there our other hunting nuts like me. I told my wife "that it feels like Christmas". Typical eyeroll and then annoying stare.

Funny thing, I just mentioned a Christmas-morning-feel on J Larkin's "how ready are you" thread. Should be asleep, but I find I'm kind of hyper like a kid.

She was quartering slightly away. I got to full draw and set on the edge of my clicker for what seemed like 2min waiting for other deer to clear. She made it about. 50yds.
