I need a couple Shimano reels repaired and tuned up.

Who on here can fix 2 reels for me? I have 2 of the older Shimano "Greenies" that I need fixed up. One is a 100b and the other is a 200.

    I'm in the Austin area.

    Thanks

I just upgraded a few of my reels to ceramic bearings. the process was very straight forward. https://www.spoolspeed.com/

I use Matthews reel repair by the San Antonio airport. I imagine you could throw the reels in a priority mail box and send them in if there is not anyone in your area.

I have been running these in my e7 and K and have been very pleased. Also swapped out the OEM pinion bearing with theirs and it smoothed the reel out a ton.

+1 Nate used to work for Shimano. When he came to Texas he built a garage/shop and started a business repairing reels. I have checked it out. It is an impressive set up. He worked over 15 reels for me back in February and they have worked flawlessly.

$25 on up. I think he has a website that quotes different reel and rod repair prices...

Just asking, do the upgraded bearings help with casting distance?
