A year in the life of a farm

Roller crimped about 5 acres of an 11 acre dove filed hopefully to get doves started in. Will crimp the rest of the field a week or so before season. Tons of seed...brown top millet, sorghum, pearl millet, sunflower.

I know I’m the past you said you burn your dove fields. Are you still doing that or just crimping it?

FINALLY got a daytime pic of this buck. I know I have posted him before but I think he's cool. Have yet to see him with my eyes though I look practically every day! Certainly haven't got any video though I have sat numerous times trying.

Like father like son. Curious how certain genetic traits show up. Here is squiggly and squiggly jr and for comparison a buck from several years back that all have that same curious main beam trait.

Anyone want to take a stab at scoring this bad boy. Figure the brows are 7" on rt, 6" on left.Deer will weigh over 250 probably.

With those curved tines he’s tough to judge, but 212” is my guess.

I'm going to guess 225-230". That is probably a tad high...but if he really does weigh 250 pounds, than I think that photo is deceiving and he sneaks into the 220s.

Perfect whitetail though! Amazing.
