I asked the same question when I was trying to decide between the HST and the VX3i. I went with the leupold, and couldn’t be happier. If you are thinking about a PST vs MK5, it seems like the same sort of comparison. Go for the gold... ring.

The Gen II PST is a great scope. However, the Mark 5 would be a step up in my opinion. Quite a step up in price though, too.

Leupold, but if it’s a Gen II PST it’s not a bad choice. I’d still go MK5 over the Vortex though.
