Kawasaki mule -SX

Going to get the wife a small Mule instead of a golf cart.
It will be used to cruise the property and carry out the trash on mostly good rocky roads.
Should I spend the $2K extra for 4WD ?

Our other big Mule will be 4Wd for work / sloppy days.

I would say no, they are light weight and tend to stay on top instead of getting buried. The 2wd do come with the locking rear diff.

The locking differential on my cousin's old mule is pretty impressive.

that Lockin RE is a real asset...JUst use when goin gets tuff.....

Yea that lite weight plus tires as wide as most Pickup weighing 5-7K..Get around real well..Mine is 4x4 rarely have to use it and then probably didn't need to...

They have a super SX with lifted bigger tires and all the whistles and bells for $3K more
She liked that one when we test drove them.

I recommend buying fuel injected if there is an option. I say that just because of the ethanol in fuel.

That system hasn't been out very long though. Its the same engine just has a throttle body instead of a carburetor.

i will be in the country and can buy ethanol free presently. But in the future I don’t know. I hope there haven’t been problems with the FI. I will look online for any discussions.
