Remington R1 Limited .45ACP

Anybody have one of these double stacked 45's ?
If so what is your opinion on it.
I know it's hefty and with 16 rounds loaded is coming in right at 3.5 lbs

Muzzlebrale, I hope my memory is correct Remington started this line after acquiring Para-ordnance. I do have a para and love it. Put close to 3k through it in three years. And just changed the recoil spring. So if they built it like Para it is a tank.

Yep, they are the Remington version of the Para once they bought them out. Both are outstanding guns. Heavy indeed, but outstanding!

I shoot a late model Para 16-40 in USPSA and like it. I don’t see any reason the Remington would be any different.

Now if I could only find the Remington. It holds one more round than the Para and 2 or 3 more than the Rock Island plus I like the rear sight better.
