Weird Things at the Ranch

Came across this unusually shaped species of the Fungi family at the ranch yesterday. Not sure about the rest of you, but I’ve never seen anything like this before—not that grows out of the ground anyway.

Believe it or not, this is a mushroom from the species, Phallus Rubicundus. Leave it to nature to create a fungus that grows erect, then mushrooms to head that is...

The first thing that came to my mind after seeing the pic and the comment on chocolate is Ron Whites joke about chocolate.
