    Not much of an operator.
    A. Never should have happened
    B. That machine is self recoverable

I would think a good operator could pull itself out with the bucket.

a good operator wouldn't have got himself in that situation!

Agree with the self recoverable crowd.

Grandfather and I watched a guy stick a CAT dozer and then watched the heavy wrecker do work. Grandfather said me and you could get that out with the blade and some chains. When i asked if we should help, he said they should know that if they're running it. Fair points. I was too young to do it alone and he wasn't in the health to do it honestly, but a funny memory.

Looks like he could just push it up level with the boom and spin it 45 degrees. He should be out in seconds.

I could have gotten out of that jam when I was 8 years old.[emoji6] I will admit though, good operators are harder and harder to find. Just because you can move it, doesn’t make you an operator.

Harder to find or harder to pay accordingly?

If she can make it move, I may let her operate it. [emoji13]

Self recovery guys are assuming it will still rotate but with the full side of the cab against hard bank I doubt that

Laying at that angle may have engine starved for oil and wouldn’t be safe to try and run for self recovery. Lots of “what if’s” here.
