This kids in Austin. Maybe heíll enroll and add some depth lost with Ingramís departure.

https://247sports.com/Player/Eric-Gray-81840/

8 available scholarships. Sounds like theyíll go with 3-4 HS kids and 3-4 portal kids.

There was talks of getting him on the Texas staff, but Texas already has two secondary coaches. His salary is $750K so most schools will have to make him a DC or a CO-DC to get him to come with a pay bump. I am sure getting passed over for the DC job at LSU is making him look around. Then again, he likes to float his name each year as available to get raises at LSU.

What I was told was he was asked if he was interested in the DC position and told LSU no that he liked what he was coaching and wanted to stay the DB coach and didnít even want to interview for the DC position from the beginning.

Also that big money boosters really like him so he gets money from them on top of his big salary from LSU.

Of course. Sounds like he's complacent making a cool 3/4 million plus incentives with less responsibility

He did well to get Montana playing good. They went 11-4 in 2019. I donít think they played in 2020.

It sounds like he was the candidate to replace the new Texas DC at Washington.

Call it whatever you want, but Sark is going in with a ten times better starting staff than Herman and Strong. I have no idea if Sark works out but heís off to a great start with his staff. Hopefully they get spring ball to get everything installed.

Montana and Montana State are different.... just like you don't mix up Texas, Texas Tech, or Texas A&M.... I know because I graduated from University of Montana

Both schools have good football programs. Montana was the dominant program in 90s and 2000s. After several head coaching changes due to coaches getting higher paying jobs at bigger schools and the lack of money being put in to facilities the Montana program got passed up by other schools and their rival Montana State. Montana has won national championships and played in several. They also had the record for most consecutive playoff appearances. We also beat Montana State like 17 times in row until the upset in early 2000s

Montana is on the road to recovery, so we shall see......

Rant induced by several posters mentioning hiring the Montana coach or that Montana is a good program and has won championships etc... Words matter

They actually have more than 2 universities that play football. Potato is still only one word no matter how you say it. Not really relevant, other than an attempt at humor. I get it, no one cares.
