What's the difference...

In a magnum contour barrel and regular contour? Magnum is not bull barrel or varmint barrel, is it?

I have a model 700 adl rifle that I want to swap out the stock to a Bell and Carlson mountain ti stock, but it's for a magnum contour barrel. B&C said itll fit. Will the barrel channel be too big?

Depending on barrel mfg roughly .025” difference at the muzzle. Basically it won’t be enough to notice.

I have done exactly what you are wanting to do many times you have a little extra free float in the barrel channel not overly noticeable
