Deer dropped and rolled away from shot! Seen this happen especially when shooting from ground level.

Looks like a mechanical broadhead and the buck jumped the string doing the ol drop and roll. Broadhead probably just ran also the ribs on the outside and exited out the top

That’s exactly what happened. Few years ago I had a doe do that to me but she wasn’t as lucky as that buck. 15’ up at 18 yards. She wasn’t fast enough. The rage extreme gave her a good haircut.

I would of course have loved to see my other buck, but this guy is a great first whitetail. He was 180 pounds too. Awesome time!!! Now what?
