My residency kicked in during October and within days I was going from plane to smaller plane to the south end of Kodiak Island for goats and deer! More to come

We hit the island with no time to spare. Changing flights pushed back our bush flight until 4pm. Somehow we got out on time!

We landed on the lake and did our best to find a camping spot. Say goodbye to the plane, and relax a bit.

The first 2 days were used to find a route to the goats, that we located with the spotter. We passed a few deer and ran off a few bears. Day three was going to be the day, we found a route that had limited cliffs.

I have a cousin that lives in Palmer. Matsu valley is very nice, I’ve spent quite a bit of time up there. Enjoy!

No kidding, you’ll have to hit me up if you come on up. Grab a beer and BS a bit.
