    Aluminum Arrows

I fletched up a 1/2 dozen XX75's this past weekend, with 5" Gateway feathers and man...those things are pretty awesome. I hadn't shot an aluminum arrow since I was a kid. I forgot how forgiving they were with 5" fletchings. I didn't want to shoot these to cover up any problems, so I made sure the bow was tuned good. I had broadheads and field points hitting the same spot out to 70 yards with Maxima Red SD's and Blazers before trying these logs out.

Those arrows are awesome, still have several dozen. They almost match that old school camo in the first pic!!!

I haven’t even weighed them yet Briar. I plan on doing that and running them through a chrono this weekend. They ought to break 200 FPS...lol.

Ive a wahls romper in that camo. Id prolly wear it daily if it didnt crowd.

Cool. Holler back when you do.

Big 10-4 on the crowding. I too have a pair that bring the octave up a notch or two.

I think I have about 50-55 of them---all I shoot, carrying either Bear Razorheads or Snuffers. That makes for a 525-gr pile driver at 238 fps. And, no worries about trajectories since all my stands have ranges limited to 30 yds max.

Roger that. It sure did quiet the bow down considerably.

                          29/70 shooting 2317 arrows...I believe those equate to a 300 spine.
