    Three hunters in Montana who illegally killed a mountain lion in Yellowstone National Park last year were caught after authorities followed a trail of pictures the trio posted on social media, according to court documents.

              I have killed elk in that zone on the edge of the park and it is not marked out especially in the snow, you need to be careful where you go. It is big country, there are no fences and few markings. It is not a big deal to be 100 yds off, they will learn and pay the price being young and inexperienced. Bad to have it on your record but it isn't like they were hunting cats in the park.

                1. Don't put your life on social media.
                2. When you are questioned by LEOs, tell the **** truth the first time.
                3. Make your own "buffer" when using a GPS next to a property you have no business being on. The civilian models just get you close.
