    Trapper style knife maker?

Is anyone on here a maker of folding trapper style knives? Trying to get my dad a knife for Father’s Day but don’t want a standard case or other name brand. Would like a small maker who shows pride in their work to make one for him. He currently doesn’t have an edc knife that he likes so I’m trying to find one. Thanks y’all.

That's a cool idea for your dad. I know that I would really appreciate something like that from one of my kids.

Might try Luke Swenson, in Lakehills, Tex., I think. I think he makes some pretty nice folders.

        Last knife is a folder.

Our own coachk makes some nice knives and should be able to make you a trapper.

          Thank you for the recommendation!

I make slipjoint knives but only single bladed ones at the moment. If that's something you're interested in then let me know, I'd be happy to do it!

If you're looking for a 2 blader, I would recommend (depending on how much u wanna spend) Bill Ruple, Stanley Buzek, Luke Swenson, Bubba Crouch (there are some others but those are the ones off the top of my head)...they are some of the best I've seen, all here in Texas!

          Thanks!

I have a couple of Stanley Buzek knives and they are well built.
            Good luck with your search

I believe he has moved and built a new shop.

Can you send me a pm, I’m not opposed to a single blade knife at all
