    Spotted Hogs

Had a good sized herd of pigs come to the feeder Sunday morning. Got to use my new 6.5 Grendel on them and wow, I really like that gun. The 123gr. Hornady SST's I was using did a great job knocking the hogs down. And once they were down they stayed down. The spotted hogs really stand out and were easy to pick off once they started to run.

Sorry for the first pic being cattywompus. Tried twice to correct that.

I've got several on my place like your last pic as well. My strategy is to shoot a solid black one first then try to pick off the spotted ones as they are running away.

They are a lot easier to see in low light conditions too. My wife killed this pig one evening with her favorite hog gun, Marlin 30-30

We've got them too. I kill them all. It doesn't matter what color they are.

I read once that spotted or white and black hogs in the wild were due to inbreeding.
