Has anyone here hunted the Lake Lewisville CORPS land?
I heard that you can hunt turkey and hogs there, and I'm thinking of going this spring. Any tips on locating the birds or hogs there?
Also, do yall know if this is a bow only zone for gobblers, or can you use a shotgun? Or are shotguns only for migratory species?
I know there is hunting in grapevine, but I've read alot and there seems to be alot of traffic and hassel out there. We have a family ranch about 2.5 hours away, so I can head out there to avoid the people. But we don't have many turkey this year, and I"m looking to introduce two friends to hunting this year. It would be nice to be able to do that close to home.
