Looks like this one has already jumped the Brazos and headed north. over 12,000 acres so far. I have some friends in Mineral Wells that are seeing DC-10 tankers flying along with a bunch of Air Tractors digging water out of Lake Palo Pinto. Only 12% contained. Come on rain!

Yep, they are filling buckets of water right out in front of our dock. Pretty crazy. Hopefully they get this contained shortly.Comment

They were filling up at Pk on Saturday as well. Had 3 seaplanes fly right over us and fill from the lake. It looked like 1 fire in the morning and saw 7-8 different smoke plumes on the way home
