Do you really think these guys golf for the love of the game? Its a job for them, and a different employer offered more money. PGA will need to respond and my bet is these folks will be allowed to return to majors.

It was reported Tiger turned down a 9 figure offer to join the LIV tour. Fortunate for me, of the 48 players signed up already, there is any I will miss on the PGA tour. Most I don't even now anyways

Here are the 48 players who have officially signed up so far, with DeChambeau and Reed also reportedly on the way for the next one:

        Phil Mickelson
        Dustin Johnson
        Shaun Norris
        Oliver Bekker
        Kevin Yuan
        Justin Harding
        Ratchanon Chantanauwat
        Chase Koepka
        Wade Ormsby
        Matt Jones
        Ryosuke Kino****a
        Blake Windred
        Martin Kaymer
        Pablo Larrazabal
        JC Ritchie
        Ian Snyman
        Kevin Na
        Sadom Kaewkanjana
        Hideto Tanihara
        Viraj Madappa
        Sihwan Kim
        Scott Vincent
        Jinichiro Kozuma
        Itthipat Buranatanyarat
        Peter Uihlein
        Richard Bland
        Phachara Khongwatmai
        Travis Smyth
        Ian Poulter
        Lee Westwood
        Sam Horsfield
        Laurie Canter
        Louis Oosthuizen
        Hennie Du Plessis
        Charl Schwartzel
        Branden Grace
        Sergio Garcia
        James Piot
        David Puig
        Jediah Morgan
        Graeme McDowell
        Bernd Wiesberger
        Turk Pettit
        Oliver Fisher
        Talor Gooch
        Hudson Swafford
        Adrian Otaegui
        Andy Ogletree

I love the non-profit PGA. Sorry the good players didn’t think they were making enough. Anybody checked the Sunday winnings lately?

JMHO and I watch a lot of golf.

What do you think “GOF” means?

LIV golf won't be more entertaining because they don't give a **** about the product. They stole a format from a different league (The PGL that doesn't yet exist except as a business plan), screwed it up, and put Greg Norman in charge. This is all about marketing for the House of Saud. The players are mostly has beens or never will be's.

Because the Saudi's can fund this league for 1000 years without making money, it isn't going anywhere. They will get some more legit PGA Tour pros, but not the real studs.

They don't have a broadcast deal and are unlikely to get one in the US. Right now, it is going to be on Youtube, where it won't get more viewers than unboxing videos.

It will mostly be played on mediocre courses in front of zero fans because they are charging outrageous sums for entry.

And, if the OWGR doesn't award world rankings points, then most of these guys will not qualify for majors next year.

It will hurt the tour and generally suck for golf. I don't give a **** about the tour, but I love golf.

Also, the PGA Tour is a 501c6 non profit, so they can't just hand out money to the top players. They would lose their tax exempt status and the whole thing would go up in smoke. Any earning opportunity for the players has to be available for all the players.

I think the PGA Tour gets a ton of stuff wrong from the fans perspective, but the players can suck it as far as bitching about the tour. Do the top guys not earn as much as they would if the tour had a different structure? Sure. But, without that structure the tour wouldn't exist and these guys would be hustling 8 handicap bankers on Friday and trying to teach Mrs. Haverkamp not to slice on Saturday.

His brother joined LIV so it's very possible. My guess is that he's getting his ducks in a row and will join soon. I'd love to see Brooksy and Bryson be paired together.

The only thing Koepka likes is winning majors and that could be in jeopardy.

This whole debacle reminds me of when all the pro bass fisherman left BASS and went to MLF.

A big portion of those guys have found their way back to BASS.

I see this going the same way.

DJ is getting 125 million to join. Tiger Woods, the best player in the last 20 years has a career earnings of 121 Million from PGA. I would sure as hell jump too for that kind of money.
