Two teaspoons of corn starch (or one heaping), two tablespoons of cold water….

Stir until mixed and slowly pour into simmering chili.

Continue simmering or slow boil for a minute or so.

      Problem solved.

If I want chili I just make some. It's not that hard to do. Life is too short to eat dog food.

It doesn't much matter what kind of chili you put on a hot dog or a frito pie. It's gonna create a gut bomb either way.

Me too but I don’t want to spend $35 and 3 hours to eat a hotdog.

I used to sell a brand of block chili call "Ft. Worth Chili" and "Owens" block chili also. Have seen the Ft. Worth brand in a long time though.

Wolf Brand made with Angus beef is pretty legit.

You cant buy it canned but the chili sauce that JCI uses on their hot dogs is awesomeness. Walker Street combo for me. Cheese, chili sauce, onions, mustard, and their sweet hot sauce. Guess I need to pick up some today

We generally use our home made chili on "white trash night" with squeeze cheese, and onions. Sometimes cilantro.

If it has to be canned than Wolf no beans.

If you have a Jason’s Deli close, their chili is better than canned though it isn’t great. But, I use the H‑E‑B that’s in a box if I need that chili dog fix.

For concession stand food night, Wolf brand is the go to for us. Wife approved. Beans or no beans depending on her mood.. If you are gonna eat rockgut you might as well make it true...

Seriously though I haven't seen anything in Wolf brand chili for me to say it watery or bad for a hotdog or nacho topping....just like a good ole pot of Texas red with no beans... either will work..
