We had that genetic on our place in East texas. Killed many over the last 30 years that came close to touching. Some were old mossbacks several did not make 13" before AR came
Gradually that trait has been bred out still see a few

Very cool looking buck. I have also seen several of these in East Texas on the lease I am on.

It looks to be a mature buck and makes me wonder if the antler restrictions should be revised to take tine count and length into consideration. lol
