A resounding “no”. My son and I go to reptile shows when we can. He has a small snake collection and loves those critters. Personally I’m drawn to the rattlesnakes simply because of their varying color phases. But for the life of me I would never keep venomous snakes in or around my house. You’ve got Joe average going to the reptile show and can purchase anything from copperheads to king cobras. Several of the venders I spoke with have been bitten and woke up to find themselves on vents and missing fingers due to necrosis. Simply not worth it to you, your family, or your neighbors.
