Legally I don't really think you're supposed to in most states without certain licenses and things.

Everything is legal until caught lol

All kidding aside the only reason why I keep hots( venomous snakes) is to allow them to shed one last time so skin is primo for projects. It’s not something I usually keep around long due to the risk of escapin enclosures.
