I had 2 preference points but applied as a group this year, me and one other guy. I was told the group thing increases your chances. In any event, I’m excited. Haven’t been since 2007. We’re gonna be in Zone 3 and hunting with a buddy with family land. He’s shot a 238, 199 and multiple 170+ over the last few years.

I’ve been applying for preference point. I have 3. Y’all mostly draw a tag and then figure out an outfitter?

Have researched it any yet as this hunt is down the line for me.

I’ve read a couple of things that claim what pretty much used to be a sure thing in the draw with 4 points isn’t necessarily so any more.
We shall see.

I think it is. We had four points as well.

Not this time. I’ve only bowhunted in the past when I have drawn. Buddy said with the group thing and doing firearms season we would have a better chance of drawing. Got a 444 Marlin ready to go. Shotgun or straight walled cartridges only.
