    Wooden arrows

I'm just now getting back into traditional archery after a 5 year hiatus. Looking for some cedar arrows but don't want to make a mistake on buying crap. Can someone recommend a good company to look into?

I had JEFFRO on here build my last set. Here's a thread about them.

I wish I knew what I was looking for, I've been on google looking at cedar arrows and I don't have a clue what the differences are. I know I want complete arrows though, I would be no hand at all at building my own.

Does anyone have any advice on what arrow might work best out of a heavier weight bow? I'm shooting a Sarrels Superstition it's 65lbs at 28" but I'm pulling around 30 1/2". I really don't know where to start on the correct spine for this bow

Call JEFFRO. He can set you up. You can look him up on Facebook at 10 Again Arrows.

Raptor Archery,Forrester Wood shafts has hardwood shafts, 3 Rivers and Rose City all sell quality shafts.
Spouse liked doug fir through his 60+ lb recurve before switching to a longbow.
Many good shaft makers out there now and lots of good woods to choose from. I shoot osage orange footed doug fir shafts, expensive but long lasting.

I think a 100# spine with 125 points and left full length in a 23/64 cedar or 11/32 fir

There is an art to good wooden arrows. It is one I never mastered, so since I build my own arrows, I stick (pun intended) to carbon. The last set I made that I really liked were laminated birch. I still have some cedar flu-flu's but thats it.
