    Electric Cost - New Meter?

Wondering if any electricians are on here that could provide a rough cost of installing a meter base, panel and weatherhead on the side of a 30x40 steel building. The COOP only will connect wires and plug in the meter, but trying to figure out what the rough cost of having the panel installed so I can at least be hot.

The Co-op should provide you a diagram to their specs if you ask for it. It is very easy to do it yourself.

We couldn’t build ours for much less than McCoys sales them for (in Gainesville). There may be one closer to you and they meet code. Been a few years since I’ve bought one though.

Second on McCoys. I bought my complete unit from them. Check your local McCoys and they should have your coop compliant version in stock. Buy it, bolt it up, profit.
