Aliens Landed In My Field

What made this hole? I really cannot think of any animals that could make such a clean hole without leaving a single bit of dirt around it.

• Dimensions are roughly 10" in diameter and about 12" deep.
• There's a couple of them about 3 foot from this hole.
• Middle of nowhere with no people for miles.
• Right by a gate where I step out all the time, never been there and looks to be relatively fresh.

Judging by the spoil around it, it almost looks like it was pushed out, like a round outrigger on a piece of equipment, or somesuch.

Seismograph? To find oil and gas. I know it pounds the ground to read seismic waves.

Is there a pattern to the smaller holes around the big hole? Like equal distance and evenly laid out? You need a geiger counter, there is always radiation around alien stuff.

You got a compulsive dirt nabber in your area. Might be a guy who did too many soil tests as a full time job and now can’t stop himself from taking samples.
