    Winter weather workers…

Who’s Gunn be out in this little winter storm rolling in? Where are you working and what do you do?

I have a crew of 19 starting shift work tomorrow morning trying to keep the roads of Guadalupe county as safe as possible. We will be working for the duration of this little snap.

Thank y’all for what y’all do and stay safe.

I know you don’t hear it enough but you make a difference.

I don't work these conditions, like you do. But an old timer lineman friend. He would stack cans of soup on the engine. To warm them up all night. As well as old school thermos filled with coffee

Are they predicting any accumulation? I thought this was just going to be a dusting of snow that doesn't stick.

Well, pretty much every school in San Antonio is now closed for tomorrow. I keep checking all kinds of different places trying to see why these schools closed and can’t find anything certain besides, we might see a little frozen precipitation tomorrow.

And a BIG thank you to all of you working to keep things running for us.

Doubtful anything will stick. Day time highs today warmed up the road beds pretty good. Might have a chance of ice on elevated structures and bridge decks late Thursday night early Friday morning.

Been up since 430am Wednesday pulled an all nighter to try and sleep tomorrow starting my shift at 6pm today.

Ended up going hog hunting tonight but this wind had them bedded down like I thought they would be. Oh well time for shut eye.
