I donít think so. They were fishing it when we were at Rayburn last year and 2 weeks before that they werenít letting folks on the water. Sounds like the fishing is just fine. Took 15 pounds to win a crappie tourney there a couple weeks ago.

There's timber in the middle marked by poles and a lane cut across the timber mid lake. The east side of the lake has poles on both sides of the lane and the west side has poles on 1 side. Stay between the poles on the east side and west of the poles on the west side I think! I've only been there a couple times and it's been a few years!

I'm not going to get there till late Friday night but we will still have a fish fry Sat night and Fuglers cafe right down the road has an awesome breakfast, burgers, and pie!

It'll be fun and crappie will be harmed!

I live on the lake, I'll be there. Fuglers is closed, but you have to try Chuck's BBQ, it is awesome. The marina has ribeyes every Friday. Burgers and such are good there as well. The crappie are still hit and miss. Some days they are stacked up on structure and other days they are roaming chasing shad. They should start staging at the mouths of the coves in a few weeks and start moving shallow. Hopefully it will be better than last year's spawn.

Good deal, the more the merrier. I'm sure we could use your fryer. A sign-up list for items needed for the group meals will be posted as we get closer to April.

Not to hijack this thread, are there any recommended tent camping spots for a trip to this lake towards the end of February?

Still waiting for my sons baseball schedule to be released to see if we can make the TBH crappie get together.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make this one, will be turkey hunting in FL with my nephew and grandson. Turkeys will be harmed, as well as some ocean perch.
