If you've never been to Loggins in Tyler do yourself a favor & put them on your hit list. Really good food

Yep probably the best all around food in tyler.

Nothing like going on Thursdays and getting Enchiladas, Catfish and CFS on the same plate or 2

Ive never had anyhting there bad

Its been the same exact food all my life. Do yourself a favor next time and request the Peanut butter chocolate pie if they have it.

I have to admit I haven’t been in there since the seventies and I’ve lived within twenty-five miles of Tyler for many years. May have to try it.

Edit: Chocolate peanut butter pie ? Heck yeah !

My mom loves that place, I thought it was gross. Reminds me of high school cafeteria food.

My in-laws used to take us there, in the mid 90's, when my wife and I were dating. I didn't know they were still open.

It was a weekly thing since i was so close. I would walk over there and back to make myself feel better!

Now that im in the shop in longview I try to plan lunch meetings over there or at Ricks.

Bud Jones was my other favorite until they closed down....

We always go to Clear Springs when we’re in Tyler. Will have to look this place up next time.

Great recommendation, will need to try this place when I’m that way, and will try the peanut butter chocolate pie for sure.

i remember eating there as a kid 45 years ago while working w my dad. I did not realize they were still open until recently, I went there about a month ago to eat, it is like stepping back in time, has not changed a bit.

Unless Clear Springs has drastically improved, its far from the best place in tyler. Heck i can think of several places that shut down sadly that are better than this one. Now they are better then alot of the other chains on S. Broadway. But that's about it.

I’m not old enough to go to buffets or listen to talk radio but chocolate peanut butter pie sounds good!!

Ricks isnt closed. You may be thinking of Jakes.

I eat lunch at ricks regularly and its really good! Been for dinner a few times and its for sure different cooks not near as good.

Man you and i both. I ate there for breakfast 2-3 times a week. And ate lunch there about 2x a week. The had some dang good fried shrimp and gumbo. And really good burgers. I told people about it all the time and they thought i was crazy until they ate there.
