    Coeur d'alene Idaho trip

three couples heading there in May - rented a nice home on the lake. Plan to golf, girls shop downtown, and we found a couple of nice restaurants. Any suggestions on other sites/activities? Thanks for input

Go to Pend Orielle and fish the 95 bridge, or just hire a guide.
    Walleye will be slamming then.

Also, if you want to catch a sturgeon see about lining that up as well. We caught three big ones in a 6 hour trip. From memory it was in July, in fact I know it was, but a cool trip!

Capone's pub and grill is really good. It was on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
Hudsons Hamburgers is an old school hamburger spot.

Tubbs Hill is a neat place to hike. Scenic view of the lake.

Definitely play golf at the Coeur d'alene resort. Its a player friendly course, but fun. Especially the floating green.

        It's a beautiful place.

I spent 4.5 weeks hunting deer, elk, and moose there back in ‘08 but didn’t do a whole lot else.
There’s some good logging roads on the reservation that you can spot game from.

Just curious. What made you decide to vacation in Coeur d’alene? What was the draw to want to go there?

Beautiful scenery everywhere out west, but it truly is beautiful up in that area.
Also Banff and Glacier are within striking distance.

No recommendations but it is beautiful. Went there and then up north of there to Priest Lake for a week several years back. Stunning part of the world. I remember all of the huckleberry related foods (syrups, jams, etc.). Delicious.

May "Could" see snow or very cold temps, absolutely beautiful country up there. Glacier and Banff will have most of the park closed that time of year due to snow. The Going to the Sun Road at Glacier wont even open until June
